My grandmother’s greenhouse was the location of my first photo shoot. I was about 15 or 16 years old and we still used film and a real darkroom. I may be dating myself, but I think it’s worth noting that this was the late 1990s and darkrooms had revolving doors and filter gels- not mouse clicks and auto filters. I adore both, by the way. But since those days, two loves emerged. One for composing thoughtful images through a viewfinder (film or digital) and the other for the damp dank smell of freshly watered soil. What has blossomed since? Come back and see the results of my garden and camera this spring! Love life!! And flowers…
